Jerry has come to us after three years of looking
for a colt that would suit our breeding program for a halter sire.
Hours spent staring at a computer screen at horses all over the world,
led us back to Australia. A passing glance at the AAA National show,
a chat on the five hour drive home and a peek at some recent photos
and his pedigree had us buying him sight unseen.
I was as nervous as if I had brought a colt from
the US the day he step down off the transport truck. My heart skipped
a beat as I looked at him, it still does today.
Jerry’s pedigree reads like the who’s who of the
halter world. He carries some of the most influential Quarter Horse
bloodlines from here in Australia and the USA. And for his Appaloosa
blood, no less than four stallions that are listed in the US Appaloosa
Hall of Fame, or are leading halter/ performance sires in Australia.
A good colt should have a good dam line. Jerry’s maternal influence
is just as strong. His pedigree is littered with mares that have produced
World or National champions. His dam, although never shown has produced
three foals to date. All have been State and National Champions. His
maternal grand dam is full sister to the amazing show mare and producer
Quick Profit.
His pedigree and his outstanding conformation, type
and natural muscle will make this colt a stallion to be reckoned with
in the future.
From his first crop of foals he has already impressed us with his ability to pass on his great traits. His foals have correct structure, great bone and height. They posses short strong backs, clean necks and tie downs to die for. They have their sires look at me attitude while being easy to handle and train.
